The 100K Georgians for Environmental Justice Campaign is a five-year effort to engage 100,000 people across Georgia in climate justice organizing and leadership development.
This work focuses on strengthening local leadership and ensuring that frontline residents play an active role in shaping climate solutions that affect their communities. By investing in local leaders and building community-rooted teams, the campaign works to create lasting change across Georgia.
Communities across Georgia are already experiencing the impacts of climate change, rising energy costs, and environmental inequities. Too often, the people most affected by these challenges are excluded from the decisions shaping climate solutions.
The 100K Georgians Campaign works to change that by supporting local leadership and creating pathways for residents to take part in conversations and decisions that affect their communities.
At the heart of this work is the belief that lasting change happens when people organize together and build power at the local level.
