Drew is a Lead Community Organizer with Sustainable Georgia Futures, where he helps build community power around environmental justice, climate resilience, and equitable access to Georgia’s emerging green economy. His work focuses on leadership development, grassroots outreach, and policy education through SGF’s 100K Georgians Campaign, a five-year effort to organize communities across Georgia around locally rooted solutions and collective action. Drew supports the recruitment and training of Leadership Development Teams in cities including Macon, Albany, Augusta, and Savannah, helping residents identify shared concerns and turn them into community-led advocacy priorities.
A graduate of Morehouse College with a background in economics, Drew brings a strong interest in environmental policy, international development, and economic justice to his organizing work. His broader interests center on the intersection of international environmental justice, sustainable economic development, and law, particularly how communities most impacted by environmental and economic inequity can gain greater power over the policies and systems that shape their lives. He is committed to helping communities build the knowledge, relationships, and collective power needed to shape more just, sustainable futures locally and globally.
